School Uniform



Every child wears school uniform and it is hoped that parents will continue to support this policy.


School uniform and PE kit may be purchased from "Smarty Pants Schoolwear"

GIRLS’ UNIFORM  - Grey skirt, grey pinafore dress or grey tailored trousers

                                                      White blouse

                                                            School Tie

Bottle green cardigan or V–neck jumper (available with school badge from Smarty Pants)

Summer dress (any suitable style) in green and white candy stripe or checked material.

White or black closed-toe sandals may be worn in the Summer

                                                      Bottle green blazer (optional)

                                                      White socks, or plain grey or bottle green tights


BOYS’ UNIFORM  -                       Grey trousers (or shorts)

                                                     White shirt

                                                     School tie

                                                     Bottle green V-neck jumper (available 

                                                     with school badge from Smarty Pants)

                                                     Bottle green blazer (optional)

                                                     Grey socks


N.B.  Sensible dark shoes, please.  No trainers.


Long hair should be tied back with a discrete green or green/white hair band.


            P.E. KIT                     - Yellow polo shirts and green shorts

                                                - Plimsolls for outdoor PE in Key Stage One

                                                - Plimsolls or trainers for outdoor PE in Key Stage Two






We do not encourage jewellery, with the exception of watches, to be worn in school.  In the case of earrings, only studs or sleepers may be worn and these MUST be removed for physical activity (Essex County Council Health and Safety Bulletin/Jan.1995).
